Which materials cannot be used for a UV laser marking machine and CO2 laser marking machine

I urge you to discuss this with your laser marking supplier. The question is a good filter for choosing your equipment manufacturer or their VAR (value added reseller). If neither one knows which plastics the laser marking system can and cannot be used for, then you may want to contact another supplier. However, if the sales representative does not know don’t be put off. Ask the rep to refer you to one of their applications engineers. The supplier may have the knowledge somewhere on their staff. If they are the manudfacturer and do not have knowledgeable applications engineers then how could they have developed a laser marking system with the versatility and range of settings customers need? If they are the VAR and don’t know then where is the value added? Again, your question is a good filter question.
