I have already used the laser to burn dozens of Christmas ornaments on pine tree branch slices. I simply use JPEGs that I find online or create. I have found that when burning on pine or plywood, If I use a max power of 100% and a speed of 1700, my images come out great.

So far I absolutely love playing with this laser engraver. I can't wait to find out how far it's limitations will go. Thus far it has handled everything that I have thrown at it. This would be a great laser engraver for any beginner. I highly recommend it.
